About Me

I am Tuan-Binh Tran (Vietnamese: Trần Tuấn Bình; also written as Tran Tuan Binh), a master’s student at VinUniversity supervised by Dr. Huynh Thanh Trung and Dr. Tung Kieu. Previously, I interned with the FPT AI Residency program at FPT Software under Dr. Tung’s supervision and worked as a research assistant at VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET) with Dr. Duc-Trong Le.

I am exploring a range of research topics as I develop my long-term research focus. My current interests include:

Data Mining: Time series analysis and recommender systems.
Machine Learning: Generative models, particularly diffusion models, and continual learning.

Outside of research, I enjoy playing badminton 🏸, working out at the gym 💪🏻, and singing 🎤.

[Sep. 2026] I began my Master’s studies at VinUniversity under the supervision of Dr. Huynh Thanh Trung.
[Aug. 2026] Our paper on multimodal time series (ScenarioDiff) is accepted to ICDM 2026 (CORE A*)!
[Jun. 2026] I graduated as the valedictorian of my program at VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET).
